With the Euros in full swing and the beers in full flow, I thought there would be nothing more fitting than to get on the football hype train. However, after a short but sweet stint of boogying n boozing for the tartan army, I had to find another means of keeping the football fire burning.
Every little dude collected Panini cards back in the day. There wasn’t a feeling quite like packing a shiny Ronaldinho card after a kickabout in the streets, but much like the ballers of old, that is a habit that has run its course. Replaced with booze, drugs n all the nastiness that goes with it.
Everyone wishes they could still be young kicking a ball about and chillin’ with their friends, growing up can suck and everyone knows it. That’s why a ball is replaced with a beer and the past is left in the past. So, the Panini Project aims to change that, to bring us back to our youth, remind us that things aren’t so bad, and that football can unite us and not just divide us (unless you’re English). So go grab your pals, grab a few beers…and dust those boots down dudes!
